Obituary
Mrs. Lilan Ann Suddith, age 46 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2013 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Lilan was born November 13, 1967, in Vernon, AL to Alice Lawrence and the late Charles Lawrence. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Harold Suddith. She enjoyed scrapbooking, arts and crafts, and being with her grandchildren. Lilan will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. In addition to her husband and father, Lilan was also preceded in death by one grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Eddie Finch and Phil VanDevander officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening 5-8.
Survivors include her daughter, Brittney Suddith Ives (John Lipa, Jr.) of Vernon, AL; two grandsons, Langston and Cooper Ives of Vernon, AL; her mother, Alice Lawrence (Phillip Early) of Vernon, AL; one sister, Rene (Phil) VanDevander of Tupelo, MS; two brothers, Lloyd Lawrence of Saltillo, MS and Twain Lawrence of Tupelo, MS; one niece, Ciara Lawrence; nephews, Jesse Hankins (Kingston Hankins) and Wesley Lawrence (Bailey and Kyleigh Lawrence); and her best friend, Melissa McDanial.
