Mrs. Linda Gail Shirley, age 66, of Vernon, AL and formerly of Guin, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.

Mrs. Shirley was born May 23, 1955, in Winfield, AL, to Mary Lolley and the late Joe Flynn.  She was a certified nurses assistant, and was known to everyone as a giver of life who always wanted to make you smile.  She was also preceded in death by her special friend, Wayne Sisty, and her grandparents, Grady and Stella Green, Samual Flynn, and Mary Flynn Young.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Michael) Homan of Millport, AL and Emmie (James) Allen of Tupelo, MS; her mother, Mary Lolley; eight grandchildren, Dustin (Shannon) Homan, Dalton Homan, Devin (Lexi) Homan, Dante Scone, Micayla Homan, Matthew Carter, Grady Allen, and Wyatt Allen; two great-grandchildren, Gunner Homan and Carter Brim Homan.
