Ms. Elizabeth "Liz" Marie Dollar, age 78, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Forest Manor Health and Rehab in Northport.

Ms. Dollar was born November 5, 1944, in Stoughton, WI, to the late Edwin and Borghild Janet Swangstu.  She was a member of the Vernon First United Methodist Church and was a child caretaker for many years.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Dollar; two sisters, Betty Neath and Darlene Butler; and five brothers, Richard Swangstu, Donald Swangstu, Eugene Johnson, Edward Swangstu, and Richard Dean Johnson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Preston Corbett officiating.

Survivors include her sons, Billy (Sandra) Dollar and Don (Marty) Dollar, both of Vernon, AL; her daughters, Dedar Dollar of Double Springs, AL, Emily (Hib) Dockery of Northport, AL, and Debbie Guyton of Double Springs, AL; her grandchildren, Erin (Jimmy) Lann, Sydney (Ryan) Cranford, Kelsey Dollar, Logan (Zach) Campbell, Bailey McKay, Brady Dollar, Dalton Dockery, Nathan Carr, and Emilie Guyton; and great-grandchildren, Eli Lann, Carter Lann, Saylor Lann, Naomi Cranford, Vivi Claire Campbell, and Layla Dockery; her brother, Sonny Swangstu of Stoughton, WI; and two special friends, Sharon Lunde and Miss Sue.
