Mr. Aubrey Lloyd Clanton, age 64 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Clanton was born January 24, 1952, in Kirkland, GA, to the late Aubrey and Marjorie Clanton. He was a propane driver for Mid South Propane and was married to the late Clara Sue Clanton. Mr. Clanton was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Helene McClemore, and his brother-in-law, Jackie McLemore.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Joe Beckon officiating. Burial will follow in the Crews Cemetery in Sulligent. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 prior to the service.

Survivors include his son, Kevin (Julia) Clanton of Gurley, AL; two special daughters, Kara Colburn and Kaci Colburn; three grandchildren, Lexi Parker, Bentley Holliday, and Aubree Colburn; his brothers and sisters; his father-in-law, Jack McLemore; his brother-in-law, Larry (Diane) McLemore; his sister-in-law, Shirley McLemore; three nieces, Natasha Pace, Tangi Landers, and Joanna Bridges; two nephews, Shawn McLemore and Scott McLemore; his special friend, Samantha Cantrell; and a host of family and friends.
