Ms. Loree Trimm, age 83 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at her residence.

Ms. Trimm was born February 10, 1930, in Lamar Co., AL in the Fellowship Community to the late John Grady and Jennie Edna Thomas Butler. She was a commodities broker at Butler & Company. In addition to her parents, Ms. Trimm was preceded in death by her grandson, Duke D. Trimm; two sisters, Loventrice (Clifton) Thomas and Jessie Lee Butler; one brother, Loyd S. Butler; and one niece, Patricia Butler Shepard.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 4:00 at First Baptist Church where she will lie in state 3-4. Bro. Clyde Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery. There will be a visitation with the family following the service.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelia (Burt) Hankins of Vernon, AL; four sons, Darryl (Edie) Trimm of Covington, GA, David (Denise) Trimm of Alabaster, AL, Tom Trimm of Vernon, AL, and Trimm of Northport, AL; eleven grandchildren, Stefan Trimm of Covington, GA, Tabitha (Steffen) Hooson of Atlanta, GA, Kurt (Stepahnie) Hankins of Vernon, AL, Robin (Tony) McDaniel of Millport, AL, Rhett (Kristen) Trimm of Center Point, AL, Candy (Daren) Gordon of Vernon, AL, Sela Trimm of Alabaster, AL, Jason (Rachel) Gilliam of Saltillo, MS, Tiffany (Matt) Turner of Northport, AL, and Jessica Trimm of Broken Arrow, OK; eleven great-grandchildren, Grayson and Emma Hankins, Elizabeth, Juliana, and Olivia McDaniel, Mason and Kendall Trimm, Shiloh and Nicholas Gordon, and Katelyn and Cason Gilliam; one brother, Larry (Juanita) Butler of Sulligent, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
