Mr. Lynn B. Boman, age 85 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Northport Medical Center-DCH.

Mr. Boman was born February 5, 1935, in Vernon, AL, to the late William L. and Sammie Lee Boman.  He served in the U.S. Army and Vietnam War, and was a logger.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edna Joyce Boman; four brothers, Hoyt Boman, W.L. Boman, Leon Boman, and Ellis Boman; and two sisters, Mildred Mills and Mary Ellen White.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Saturday 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

The family has requested that everyone please wear a mask.

Survivors include two sons, Lynn B. Boman, Jr. of Vernon, AL and Terry Wayne Boman of Georgia; one step-daughter, Benita Stanford of Beaverton, AL; six grandchildren, Bridget Koontz, Kelly Wilcher, Josh Stanford, and Maleigha, Greyson, and Kyleigh Boman; four great-grandchildren, Cameron and Katie Gosa, and Grace and Ben Culpepper; and four brothers, Jack (Ruby) Boman, Billy Box (Sheree) Boman of Vernon, AL, Wayne (Kathleen) Boman of New Albany, MS, and Jerry (Donnica) Boman of Jasper, AL.
