Obituary
Mrs. Madel Roberts Reeves, age 96 of Vestavia, AL, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Hoover, AL.
Mrs. Reeves was born March 26, 1916, in Blount Co., AL to the late Sam and Jacke Roberts. Prior to living in Vestavia, she resided in Vernon, AL where she retired from Vernon Manufacturing Co. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver "Pink" Reeves; grandson, Keith Kling; her parents; and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:15 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Levan Parker of the Central Park Baptist Church in Birmingham officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10:30-11:15 prior to the service.
Survivors are son, Floyd (Mary Ann) Reeves; daughter, Betty Kling; two granddaughters, Cathy and Suzanne Reeves; and great-grandson, David Shirley Kling.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hoover Baptist Church or Central Park Christian School.
