Obituary
Mr. Marcus Ray Goss, age 65 of Rincon, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Rincon.
Mr. Goss was born September 24, 1949, in Columbus, MS to the late Willie Ray and Doris Elaine Dollar Goss. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Master's Degree in Education and was employeed with Delta Airlines for over 27 years where he worked in operations. Mr. Goss was an avid bass fisherman, golfer, and an everlasting beacon of guidance and trust.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 15, at 1:00 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery in Millport.
Mr. Goss is survived by his four sons, Paul (Tammy) Goss of Ridgeland, MS, Brian Goss of Atlanta, GA, Tyler (Mary) Goss of Kansas City, MO, and Chandler Goss of Brandon, MS; his daughter, Bethany (Brandon) Hofmann of of Guyton, GA; two sisters, Sophia Elaine Goss of Firestone, CO and Lynn Marie Goss of Gillette, WY; his aunt, Ann Goss Parr of Hoschton, GA; his uncle, Earl (Geraldine) of Pulaski, MS; six grandchildren, Christopher Goss, Coy Goss, Adalynn Goss, Avery Hofmann, Taylor Hofmann, and Carter Hofmann; his very dear friend, Kathy Olson; and countless extended family and friends.
