Marcus Guess passed away on Friday, May 29th, 2020, at Generations of Vernon.

Mr. Guess was born September 9, 1942, in Marion County, AL, to the late William Ross and Hassie Rogers Guess.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Guess.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Terry Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be Saturday evening 6:00-8:00.

Active pallbearers will be Ellis Thompson, Earl Berry, Heath Black, Jimmy Wade Rogers, Wayne Rogers, and John David Rogers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Guess, Leo Mayes, Theresa Mayes, and Sherrie Black.

Mr. Guess left behind one sister, Frances Rickman with her husband Douglas Rickman; one brother, Robert Guess; three nieces; and numerous friends.

The funeral service will be live streamed on this website for those who are not able to attend.
