Mrs. Margaret Pennington, age 73 of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Mrs. Pennington was born September 22, 1947, in Birmingham, AL, to the late O.A. and Margaret Lindsey.  She was a mortgage officer.

There will be a graveside service Thursday, June 17, at 12:30 PM, at Furnace Hill, with Phillip Slone officiating.  Visitation will be 11:30-12:30 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Kenny Pennington, Sr., of Vernon, AL; one son, Kenny Pennington, Jr., of Birmingham, AL; one daughter, Angela Hornsby of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Hunter Hudson, and Harper Pennington, and Ava and Emily Hornsby; one brother, Odie Lindsey, of Palm Coast, FL; and one cousin, Alma Harris.
