Mrs. Marjorie Cash, age 97, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Cash was born February 23, 1928, in Lamar County, AL, to the late James Bert and Lettie (Hankins) Cunningham.  She was an office worker and was a faithful member of Meadow Branch Baptist Church.  She was married to the late Luther Cash and was also preceded in death by their daughter, Barbara Ann Cash.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 30, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Chris McCool officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadow Branch.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Charles Burnett, Chris Johnson, Brandon Burnett, Austin Burnett, Tyler Raine, and Joshua Raine.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Mary-Ann (Chris) Johnson, Charles Burnett, and Terry Michael Burnett, Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
