Ms. Marlene Shaw, age 46 of Caledonia, MS, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at her residence.

Ms. Shaw was born January 29, 1970, in Vernon, AL, to the late Dan and Stella Shaw. She was a hopper with Waste Management and was also preceded in death by her sister, Diane McDowell, and her niece, Shae Shaw.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:00 from the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with James Godsey officiating. Graveside services will follow at Higdon Memorial Cemetery in Kennedy. Visitation will be Saturday morning 10-12 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Danny Shaw, Jr., Frankie Goforth, Brian Hall, Draven Lockhart, Tim McBunch, and Brandon Bursell.

Survivors include five sons, Jessie Shaw of Columbus, MS, Dusty (LaDare) Shaw of Vernon, AL, Justin Shaw of Caledonia, MS, J.B. McDowell of Vernon, AL, and Tyler Simpson of Vernon, AL; her fiance, Larry Thomas; one brother, Danny Ray Shaw of Vernon, AL; two sisters, Betty Jo Shaw of New Hope, MS and Betty Ray Shaw of Caledonia, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
