Martha Butler, age 73 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.
Mrs. Butler was born Sep. 29, 1937 in Lamar Co., AL to the late Hobson and Adell Bickerstaff. She was a secretary.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Danny Jolly and Ed Broadway officiating. Burial will be Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, James Earl Butler of Vernon; two daughters, Brenda Dubose of Vernon and Janice Birmingham of Vernon; brother, Joe Bickerstaff of Birmingham; sister, Judy Jones of Jasper; and three grandchildren, Leashia Kyzer of California, Jonathan Birmingham of Vernon, and Taylor Dubose of Vernon.
