Obituary
Marvin Edward Lawrence, age 57 of Vernon, AL, passed Thursday, July 8, 2010.
Mr. Lawrence was born March 20, 1953 to Margaret Lawrence Pennington and the late Jay Max Lawrence. He was a truck driver and was in the National Guard.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 11, 2010, at 3:00 at Christian Chapel Church of Christ with Jesse Phillips and Travis Brown officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors are his mother and step-father, Margaret and Fred Pennington; two brothers, Dale Lawrence of Hamilton, AL and Jay Lawrence of Columbus, MS; half-brother, Bill Pennington of Vernon; and step-brother, Redus Pennington of Birmingham, AL.
He was preceded in death by his father.
