Marvin Edward Mace, Jr., age 65 of Vernon, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at Sactuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
Mr. Mace was born Nov. 10, 1944 in Phelps Co., MO to the late Marvin Edward Mace, Sr. and Alma Mace. He was a construction worker and a member of Calvery Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Ed Broadway and Daniel Jolly officiating. Burial will be Asbury.
Survivors are his wife, Nelda Mace of Vernon; three sons, William Mace of Cleveland, OK, Leslie Mace of Chantilly, VA, and Rick McDuffie of Vernon; two daughters, Nicole Butt of Garland, TX and Ginger Moehring of Caledonia; six brothers, Bernice Mace, Frank Mace, Danny Mace, Lonnie Mace, and Lorn Mace all of Edgar Springs, MO, and Roger Mace of Salem, MO; four sisters, Zelma Borders of Doolittle, MO, Barbara Lewis of Joplin, MO, Lavena Bell and Winnie Hopkins of Edgar Springs, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Harold Mace.
