Mrs. Mary Nan Aldridge, age 85 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019, at Generations of Vernon.

Mrs. Aldridge was born January 26, 1934, in Lamar County, AL, to the later Andrew and Tezzie Robertson, and was married to the late Jimmy Ray Aldridge.  She was a member of the Vernon Church of Christ and worked as a bookkeeper at a hardware store.  Mrs. Aldridge enjoyed being with her family and friends, and being Nanny to her granddaughters and great-grandsons.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Ray Aldridge, Jr.; three brothers, Paul Robertson, Avery Robertson, and Fred Robertson; and one sister, Sue (Tribb) Pennington.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Eddie Finch and Jonathan Wheeler officiating.  Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00-3:00, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Brian Robertson, John Paul Robertson, Andy Robertson, Chris Robertson, Ray Pennington, Alan Pennington, Lance Pennington, and Thomas Pennington.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca (Tommy) Standridge of Vernon, AL; two granddaughters, Shawn Bozeman-Carter of Vernon, AL and Paige Standridge (fiance Cole) of Montgomery, AL; two great-grandsons, Cruise and Cohen Carter; one sister, Frances Hardy of Vernon, AL; three sisters-in-law, Linda Robertson, Sandra Robertson, and Karen Robertson; and a host of other family and friends.
