Obituary
Mrs. Mary Frances Christian, age 90 of Leesburg, IN and formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at her residence in Leesburg.
Mrs. Christian was born February 29, 1924, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late James and Mary McCool. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Nobel Christian. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Christian was preceded in death by one grandson, one great-granddaughter, eleven brothers and sisters, and eight half-brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel with Danny Thompson and James Waldon officiating. Graveside services will follow at Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 prior to the service.
Survivors include her son, Raymond (Susan) Christian of North Judson, IN; two daughters, Mary Lou Kiser of Leesburg, IN and Verla Harter of Warsaw, IN; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Colie McCool of Pierceton, IN; and two sisters, O'Dell Herron of Warsaw, IN and Lucy Howard of Alabama.
