Obituary
Mrs. Mary "Tillie" Johnson, age 92 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wedneday, December 12, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.
Mrs. Johnson was born August 30, 1920, in Lamar Co., AL to the late William and Sarah Johnson. She was a seamstress. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Johnson, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel with Jimmy May officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in the Hightogy Community. Visitation will be Saturday 11-1 prior to the service.
Survivors include her son, William (Mary C.) Johnson of Sulligent, AL; daughter, Sarah (Eddie) Romans of Caledonia, MS; sister, Ed Bee Atkins of Vernon, AL; two grandchildren, Michael Romans and Mary Kinard; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah Beth Kinard, Anna Kate Kinard, and Jacob Romans.
