Mary Alice Webber

Miss Mary Alice Webber, age 95, of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Vernon.

Miss Webber was born July 21, 1930, in Saltillo, MS, to the late Gene and Elmira Cribbs Webber.  She was a homemaker and child caretaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters, Ollie G. Neal, Olean Salters, Mamie McCrary, and Arma Nell McDougle.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Willie Sanders officiating.  A graveside service will follow at Shiloh CME Cemetery on the McGill Gin Road.  Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Salters, Jim O. Holmes, Jeremiah Salters, Allen Wade Manning, Derek D. Spears, and Danny Joe Hollis.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Truelove; her special niece, Dorothene Harris; her special cousin who is like a sister, Louis West; six grandchildren; and her sister, Ludie Bell Hollis.
