Obituary
Mattie Lee Mitchell, age 86 of Millport, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Mitchell was born Jan. 26, 1925, to the late Oscar and Penny Hudson. She was a seamstress, and enjoyed reading the bible, cooking, gardening, and working in her flower beds.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the funeral hoem chapel with Jamie Turner and Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Shilo Cemetery in the Hightogy Community. Visitation will be Saturday 6-9.
Survivors are two sons, Larry Dean (Vicky Lee) Mitchel of Hamilton, MS and Keith (Nedra) Mitchell of Millport; daughter, Patsy Elaine (Rex) Hollis of Millport; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Mitchell; her parents; and brother James Hudson.
