Obituary
Maureen Moore, age 70 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.
Mrs. Moore was born September 17, 1939 in Lamar Co., AL to the late Clyman and Jessie Kathleen Sanford. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she belonged to the WMU and played the piano. She was the custodian of finances for the Lamar Co. Board of Education. Mrs. Moore enjoyed being with her grandchildren, collecting salt and pepper shakers, camping, and reading.
Survivors are her husband, Luther Moore of Vernon; two daughters, Sonia (Bill) McKeithan of Oxford, MS and Cindy Moore of Vernon; two sisters, Charlotte Cross of Brunswick, GA and Jo Seay of Vernon; and two grandchildren, Kelsey McKeithen of Jackson, MS and Tyler McKeithen of Oxford, MS.
