Obituary
Mrs. Mava Lois Redus, age 90 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Redus was born November 24, 1924, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late John William Harvey and Cassie Myrtle Mitchell and was married to the late M.D. Redus, Jr. She was a sales clerk and bookkeeper and also worked as a librarian due to her love for the Vernon Library.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Roger Redus and Terry McAdams officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 1-2 prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Redus, John Redus, Tim Redus, Paul Redus, Trey Wheeler, and Dylan Williams.
Mrs. Redus is survived by her two sons, Ronnie (Belva Jean) Redus and Roger (Carol) Redus, both of Vernon, AL; six grandchildren, John Redus, Kyle Redus, Tim (Tina) Redus, Paul (Ashley) Redus, Rachel White, and Marsha (Jerry) Smith; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
