Mrs. Maxine Cribbs, age 87 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Cribbs was born February 9, 1930, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Roosevelt and Madge Hollis. She was a beautician and was married to the late Henry G. Cribbs. Mrs. Cribbs was also preceded in death by her two sons, Andy Cribbs and Randy Cribbs; three brothers, Artie Hollis, Lowrey Wayne Hollis, and Farris Lee Hollis; and one sister, Olene Edmondson.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Donald Barham officiating. Burial will follow at the New Hope United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Teresa Cribbs of Sulligent, AL; two grandsons, Jerrod Cribbs and Wesley (Kathryn) Cribbs; fived great-grandchildren, Raquel, Feleena, Andy Paul, Jordan, and Clay; one brother, Bill Hollis; two sisters, Elsie Hall and Eunice Morrow; two special friends, Jessica and Zella Tilley, and Michael Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
