Obituary
Mrs. Mayro Morrow, age 96 of Vernon, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Morrow was born June 18, 1915 in Marion Co., AL to the late Walter and Odessa Mays and was a housewife.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 14, at the First Baptist Church in Vernon with burial at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1-2 at the church prior to the service.
Survivors are two sons, Kenneth (Joyce) Morrow of Fayette and Donnie (Pat) Morrow of Vernon; daugther Doris Jean Ayres of Golden, CO; sister, Florence Bowling of Winfield; sister-in-law, Dean Mays of Winfield; six grandchildren, Kenalyn (Jori) Cromwell, Mike (Donna) Morrow, Kandy (Steve) Martin, Jason Ayres, Jon Ayres, and Jeffrey (Bridget) Ayres; six great-grandchildren, Matthew (Tiffany) Turner, Cortnie Morrow, Eric (Molly) Cromwell, Kyle Cromwell, Samanthy Ayres, and Brittany Ayres; two great-great-grandchildren, Heidi and Rhys Comwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Morrow; her parents; brother, Audrey Mays; sister, Pearl Holley; and granddaughter, Kathy Morrow.
