Mrs. Milessa "Lisa" Ann Turner, age 55, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at UAB Hospital, in Birmingham.

Lisa was born January 17, 1967, in Vernon, AL.  She was a 1985 graduate of Lamar County High School, and was retired from Generations of Vernon.  Lisa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone she knew.  She was preceded in death by her son, Brent Turner, and her father, Bobby L. Walker.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 6, at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Malik Walker, Nathan Head, Landon Williams, Ken Hampton, Audie Williams, and Darrin Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Turner, of Vernon, AL; her son, Bryant Turner, of Vernon, AL; her daughter, Brooke Turner, of Florence, AL; two grandchildren, Mason Turner and Jerseigh Butler; her mother, Mary Frances Walker, two brothers, Marlon (Patricia) Walker and Reggie (Amy) Walker; and two sisters, Nicole "Nikki" (Ricky) Shanklin and Felicia Guyton.
