Mr. Mose Lee Sudduth, Jr., age 70, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Sudduth was born August 15, 1952, in Dothan, AL, to the late Mose Lee Sudduth, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Sudduth.  He received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State where he played football, then went on to law school at Ole Miss.  Mr. Sudduth was an attorney for 45 years, and practiced law in Columbus and Vernon, and belonged to the Mississippi Bar Association and Alabama Bar Association.  He was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church where he was a communicant.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing softball and golf, and riding horses.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Sudduth.

The family has chosen cremation and will receive friends Wednesday, March 22, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, from 1:00-3:00 PM.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Rebecca "Becky" Sudduth, of Vernon, AL; one son, Jordan Sudduth (Brandi Walters) of New Hope, MS; one daughter, Dr. Ashley Sudduth of Vernon, AL; two friends, Jeff Navaroo and Dewey Petigo; and a host of other friends and family.
