Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Beck, age 78, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
Mrs. Beck was born July 22, 1938, in Vernon, AL, to the late Dexter B. and Ola F. Taylor.
She was married to the late Mitchell Beck and over her lifetime she had many occupations that included a cosmetologist and a model.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Beck was also preceded in death by her brothers, Theron Taylor,
Ray Taylor, Billy Taylor, and Robert Taylor, and her sisters, Jean Abrams, Kathleen Shackelford, and Blanche Robinson.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home and Bro. Bob Burch will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in the Hightogy Community.
Pallbearers will be Scott Speaks, Zachary Brooks, Wade Gordon, Dennis Jones, Dale Trull, and Cole Trull.
Survivors include four children and two sisters. Daughter, Judy (Ronnie) Rogers of Vernon, AL, and her two daughters, Brianne (Scott) Speaks and Jalaine (Zachary) Brooks. Daughter, Bobbie (Tony) Schofield of Brentwood, TN, and her children, Bridget Schofield, Sean Schofield, and Benjamin Schofield. Son, Timothy (Lucretia) Taggart of Nutley, NJ, and his children, Alex Guzman, Tamera Taggart, Jennifer (John) Cox, and Bryan Taggart.
Daughter, Darrla Dawkins of New Brockton, AL, and her daughter Amber (Brett) Hollowell.
Sister, Linda Jones of Vernon, AL and Sister, Barbara (Wayne) Trapp of Ethelsville, AL; 16 Great-Grand Children, and a host of nieces and nephews.
