Mrs. Nancy Carolyn ("Polly") Crawford, age 80 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Crawford was born June 11, 1932 in Lamar Co., AL. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Dubose; her mother and step-father, Linnie Rae ("Pud") and Robert Lake Nolen; and her step-sister, Norma Lee Jackson.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Ricky Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday 1-2 prior to the service.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Jo Crawford of Vernon, AL; daughter, Sheree (Gerald) Babb of Vernon, AL; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-sisters, Frances Turman of Sulligent, AL and Patsy Johnson of Sulligent, AL; and a special person and friend, Timberly Mordecai.
