Mrs. Gracie Nell Beard Taylor, age 80 of the Crossville Community, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Taylor was born June 28, 1940, in Millport, AL, to the late Dupree and Erdie Miller Beard.  She was an LPN, and was married to the late Bobby Crawford and the late Billy Taylor.  Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Perkins; and four brothers, Ellis Beard, Amos Beard, James Beard, and J.B. Beard.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Christian Chapel.  Visitation will be 12:30-1:00 prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Davey Perkins, James Perkins, Frankie Goforth, Josh Newman, Patrick Thompson, and Matt Bambach.  Honorary pallbearer will be Jessie Stockman.

Survivors include one son, Tommy (Joyce) Taylor of Kennedy, AL; two daughters, Judy (Carlos) Flynn of West Point, MS, and Janet (Steve) Curry of the Crossville Community; her son-in-law, David Perkins of the Crossville Community; fourteen grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Cavender, Alicia (Josh) Newman, Julie Curry, Carla (Jericho) Bates, Myranda (Scott) Shelton, Michelle (Patrick) Thompson, Dustin Taylor, Jessie (Christina) Stockman, Janna (Frankie) Goforth, Davey (Tiffany) Perkins, Chrissy (John) Welch, Dawn (Nathan) Guyton, Pam (Jared) Mills, and Trinity (Matt) Bambach; 46 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Vadus Beard of Birmingham, AL and J.T. Beard of the Fernbank Community; and two sisters, Clairee Smallwood of the Fernbank Community and Galia Rainwater of Millport, AL.
