Mrs. Nellie Gray Morrison, age 102, of Fayette, AL and formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, April 28, at her residence.

Mrs. Morrison was born December 22, 1922, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Richard  Anderson Obiedar "Obie" Butler and Sammy Lee Butler.  She worked in the garment industry and was married to the late Bernice Hamilton Morrison.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mellie B. Morrison, Reba Morrison, Eulene Bobo, and Joyce Lynette Butler, and one brother, James Earl Butler.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 30, at 1:00 PM, at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Bro. Robbie Bradford and Bro. Eddie Ayers officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 at the church prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Jeffrey Morrison, Darrell Mixon, Darwin Mixon, Bradley Morrison, Allen Foster, and Hayden Steward.  Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Foster, Wyatt Foster, Gunner Foster, and Randy Comer.

Survivors include one son, J.B. (Ellen) Morrison; one daughter, Bettie S Morrison (Dewey) Mixon; two brothers, Richard Butler and Dalton Butler; four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Tracy) Morrison, Darrell Mixon, Darwin (Tina) Mixon, and Daniel Mixon; four great-grandchildren, Danyel Mixon (Allen) Foster, Devin Mixon, Chelsea Mixon (Hayden) Steward, and Bradley (Kerri) Morrison; seven great-great-grandchildren, Levi Foster, Wyatt Foster, Gunner Foster, Braden Morrison, Kalynne Morrison, Treyson Steward, and Thomas Steward; and a host of nieces and nephews.
