Obituary
Mr. Oliver "Junior" Carr, age 67 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Generations of Vernon.
Mr. Carr was born September 15, 1945, in Lamar Co., AL to the late Buck Oliver and Mary Adell Carr and worked in the shipping department at General Tire. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, J.C. Wright.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Carlos Dean and Bro. Keith Rhudy officiating. Burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening 6-8.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Carr of Vernon, AL; two sons, Les (Christie) Carr of Hamilton, AL and Jeff (Bobbie) Carr of Vernon, AL; two granddaughters, Emily Carr and Haley Carr; and mother-in-law, Ina Rhea Wright of Vernon, AL.
