Mrs. Ollie Gray Neal, age 83 of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Neal was born December 9, 1931, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Gene and Elmire Webber. She worked at the garment plant and was a nurse's aide at the nursing home and was a member of Westside Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neal was also preceded in death by her husband, Duerell Neal and two sisters, Olean Salters and Mamie McCrary.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 at Westside Church of Christ with Bro. Daniel McCollum officiating. Graveside services will follow at Shiloh CME Cemetery on McGill Gin Road. Visitation will be Wednesday 12-1 at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Neal is survived by her son, Joe Lee Neal of Vernon, AL; three sisters, Mary Alice Webber of Vernon, AL, Arma McDougle of Omaha, NE, and Ludie Bell Hollis of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Anthony Hollis of Chicago, IL, Samantha Jones of Chicago, IL, and Tawayna Parker of Columbus, MS; six great-grandchildren; special cousins, Lois West of Vernon, AL and Isabella (Riley) Pennington; a joy of her life, Roderick Truelove of Vernon, AL; four caregivers, Carol Brown, Jacqulyn "Jackie" Brown, Tonya Pennington, and Sharon Spratt; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and associates; and a very special niece, Ludie Dorethene Harris.
