Ollie Mae O'Mary Wilson, age 98, of Vernon, AL, passed away on January 12, 2024, at Crimson Village, in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Ollie was born on July 9, 1925, in Crews, Alabama, to Lonnie and Pearl O'Mary.  Ollie married Eris Wilson, in August, 1942.  She was an active member of the Vernon First Free Will Baptist , and served as the Church Secretary for 25 years.  Ollie was a sweet and loving lady, and will be missed by her friends and family.  She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ollie was preceded in death, by her husband, Eris Wilson. They were married 65 years.  She was also preceded in death, by three brothers , and one sister, Henry O'Mary, Charlie O'Mary, Ray O'Mary, and Virginia O'Mary Taggart.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 17, at 12:00 PM, at the First Free Will Baptist Church, with Bro. Mike Dankson and Bro. Joe Beckon officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be at the church 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include two children, Bobby (Kay) Wilson of Northport, Alabama, and Freddie (Sheril Anne) Wilson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; four grandchildren, Marty Barnes (Staci) Wilson, Amanda Lorene Wilson (Lee) Delchamps, Jessica Michelle Wilson (Patrick) Sheehy, Sr., and Victoria Chelsea Wilson (Brandon) Holton; six great-grandchildren, Jackson Franklin Wilson, Addison Belle Wilson, Crawford Mills Wilson, Oliver Wilson Delchamps, Cecilia Anne Delchamps, Patrick Stevenson (Paddy) Sheehy, Jr.; one brother, James O'Mary; and her nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Crimson Village for their excellent care of Ollie.
