Obituary
Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Ann Shackelford, age 79, of Millport, AL, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.
Mrs. Shackelford was born February 2, 1935, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late James Noah and Rosa Adell Parker. She was the district manager at the Commerical Dispatch and was married to the late Roy Allen Shackelford. Mrs. Shackelford was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, five sisters, and one brother.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemeter. Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 prior to the service.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Allen "Teddy" Shackelford of Millport, AL and Ronnie Shackelford of Millport, AL; two daughters, Sonya (Keith) Porter of Millport, AL and Debby (Jay) Lawrence of Columbus, MS; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Laura Adkins of Millport, AL.
