Patsy McGee

Mrs. Patsy Ruth McGee, age 85, of Millport, AL, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026.

Mrs. McGee was born January 31, 1941, in Sulligent, AL, to the late Brad and Ruby O'Mary Merchant.  She was a homemaker and was married to the late Eugene McGee.  She was also preceded in death by her children, Laura Ruth Vice, Jackie Hood, Jimmie Hood, Kelly Ray Hood, and Janet Lee Hood.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 7, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with James Godsey and Jeff Long officiating.  A graveside service will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be Monday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Eddie Vice, Johnny Vice, Lee Page, Tony Hayes, Rickey Hayes, and Joey Knight.  Honorary pallbearers will be Braydon Vice, Will Vice, and Eli Page.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann (James) Godfrey and Janet Harley; her grandchildren, Eddie (Ashley) Vice, Johnny Vice, Stephanie (Lee) Page, Tony Hayes, Rickey (Kelly) Hayes, Tanya Hamilton, Gail (Derek) Jackson, Joey (Natalie) Knight, Jennifer (Robert) Lee, and Crystal (Chris) Fichtner; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her special friend, Landon Hardy.
