Mr. Paul Webster Rowland, age 71 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Paul was born April 8, 1949, in Columbus, MS, to the late Carl and Pauline Box Rowland.  He was an electrician for 45+ years and was a proud member of IBEW local union 917.  Paul was a private person with a big heart and generous spirit.  He was loved dearly by his two grandsons who will always remember him as "Paul-Paul."  He was self-less, hard working, and kind.  We should all strive to be more like Paul.  He will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be Sunday, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, 1:00-2:00, prior to the service.

Survivors include one son, Kevin (Christy) Rowland of Tuscaloosa, AL; two grandsons, K.P. and Kaden Rowland; one sister, Helen Robertson, of Millport, AL; one nephew, Joey Franks; and his special friends, Pat Fondren.
