Ms. Peggy Sue Colvin Hattaway, age 61 of Hamilton, AL and formerly of Vernon, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory.

Ms. Hattaway was born July 11, 1958, in Mount Holly, NJ, to the late Hunter Lee "Jim" and Edna Colvin.  She was a nurse then later went on to work in the advertising department at the Commercial Dispatch where she edited ads.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Colvin.

There will be a memorial service Sunday, June 7, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Drew (Amanda) Hattaway of Fayette, AL; her caregiver and special friend, Ruth Lollar of Hamilton, AL; one brother, Mike (Hazel) Colvin of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Austin, Leah, and Zane Hattaway, all of Fayette, AL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
