Mr. Jimmie Phillip Lollar, age 62 of Hamilton, AL and formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Mr. Lollar was born November 19, 1952, in Millport, AL, to the late Jimmie Lollar and Gladys Lollar Rinaldi. He was a surveyor and truck driver and served many years in the National Guard. Mr. Lollar was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and was a die hard Alabama fan. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Lollar, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Ryan Karr and Jammie Turner officiating. Burial will follow at the Asbury Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-8.
Pallbearers will be Keith Finch, Brandon Finch, Matthew Fonderen, Drew Hattaway, Adam Hollis, and Kyle Lollar.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Lollar of Hamilton, AL; two daughters, Becky (Matthew) Fonderen of Columbus, MS and Hope (Brandon) Hollis of Millport, AL; a son, Keith (Sherry) Finch of Hamilton, AL; 10 grandchildren, Anna Bell Fonderen, Adam Hollis, Kristyn Vice, Chasity Frost, Breanna Finch, Brandon Finch, Amanda Frost, Cheyenne Frost, Shelby Frost, and Tiffany Frost; four great-grandchildren; a very special cousin and caregiver, Peggy Hattaway; and a host of family and friends.
