Mr. Robert Price Dobbins, age 86 of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

Mr. Dobbins was born February 3, 1933, to the late Robert Grady and Cless Dobbins.  Mr. Dobbins was a mechanic and a member of the Vernon Church of Christ.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Dobbins, and two sons, Wayne Dobbins and an infant son.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Eddie Finch officiating.  Graveside services will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Saturday morning 10:00-11:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include two sons, Terry (Karen) Dobbins of Pascagoula, MS and Jerry (Debbie) Dobbins of Jacksonville, FL; two step-daughters, Beth Cooper of Hattiesburg, MS and Lisa (Scott) Perkins of Northport, AL; one step-son, Joey (Sophia) Edgeworth of Tampa, FL; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
