Mrs. Rhoda Elizabeth Rhodes, age 72 of Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Sep. 14, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Rhodes was born April 6, 1938 in Fayette Co., AL to the late William Howard and Irene Fulmer. She was a seamstress.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Clyde Stevens officiating. Burial will be Corrinth Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, John Steven (Susan) Reeves of Amory, MS and Sidney Ray (Mary) Reeves of Vernon; daughter, Cynthia Renea Foley of Amory, MS; three sisters, Helen Fields of Berry, Elva Hattaway of Berry, and Serdia Fields of Berry; 10 grandchildren, Kyle Reeves, Felecia Estes, Tracy Nethery, Christie Smith, Chris Reeves, Nicole Reeves, Megan Reeves, Beth Baker, Melisa Reeves, and James Reeves; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sidney Reeves and Jimmy Rhodes; two sisters, Edlene Kilian and Della Hinah; one brother, Cortez Fulmer; and her parents.
