Bro. Richard "Rick" Gordon Bell, age 58 of Millport, AL, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013, at Generations of Vernon.

Bro. Bell was born November 21, 1954, in Orlando, FL to Mary Ellen Harris and the late Herbert Bell. He was a preacher and truck driver. He loved to read his Bible and was an outdoorsman and gardener. In addition to his father, Bro. Bell was also preceded in death by his step-father, Al Harris, Jr.; his sister, Sharon D. Bell; and his grandmother, Jenette Johnson.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jerry Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-9.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Bell of Millport, AL; his mother, Mary Ellen Harris of Millport, AL; his half-sister, Melissa Bell of Florida; his half-brother, Chad Bell of Florida; his brother-in-law, Jeff Box of Bartahatchee, MS; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joel and Wanda Gunnels of Vernon, AL; his good friend, Bobbie Hensley of Sulligent, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
