Mrs. Robbie Newell Harmon, age 88, of Millport, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Harmon was born May 27, 1932, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Charles Thurman and Willie Jane Pennington.  She was a seamstress and was married to the late Lonnie Newell and the late Johnny Harmon.  In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Ray Pennington, and her sister, Mae Chandler.

Funeral services will be Friday, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Jammie Turner officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be Friday 12:30-2:00 prior to the service.

The family has requested that everyone please wear a mask during the visitation and service.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Johnson and Glenda (Ronnie) Oakes, both of Millport, AL; three sons, Ricky Newell of Millport, AL, Steve Newell of Columbus, MS, and Mike Newell of Millport, AL; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a niece, Alice Canny; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
