Obituary
Mr. Robert Wayne Moore, age 67 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, in Vernon.
Mr. Moore was born July 17, 1947, in Kennedy, AL, to the late George and Clara Lucile Moore. He was a maintenance worker for the City of Vernon and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Moore, Lloyd Moore, and Allen Moore.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, June 11, at 11:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Frankie Rogers officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Nelda Moore of Vernon, AL; his daughter, Jennifer (Brent) Flippo of Detroit, AL; two grandchildren, Paige (Max) Welch and Logan O'Mary; one great-granddaughter, Kadie Welch; two sisters, Erma Lou Harness of Fayette, AL and Martha Sue Huffman of Mississippi; and three brothers, Ricky Moore of Fayette, AL, J.B. Moore of Fayette, AL, and Willard Moore of Dothan, AL.
