Obituary
Mrs. Rodie Blanche Ridgeway, age 81, of Millport, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Aurora Australis Lodge in Columbus, MS.
Mrs. Ridgeway was born January 9, 1932, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Conway and Bertha Harrison and was a seamstress. In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, James Ridgeway; her daughter, Kathy Pennington; and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 1-2 prior to the service.
Survivors include her dauther, Wanda (Steven) White of Millport, AL; her son, Freddie (Carrie) Ridgeway of Bella Vista, AR; seven grandchildren, Scott (Lori) Stanford, Niki (Jeff) Bradford, Derrick (Jenn) Ridgeway, Chrissy (John) Welch, James (Tiffany) Perkins, Dawn (Nathan) Guyton, and Steven (Heather) White; eighteen great-grandchildren; her roommate and best friend, Gladys Martin of Columbus, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
