Mr. Roger Dale Morris, Sr., age 64 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Morris was born December 8, 1952, in Alabama, to the late Ruben and Icie Morris. He was an auto mechanic.
Services will be Wednesday at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Celebration Worship Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 prior to the service.
Survivors include one son, Roger Dale "ToJo" Morris, Jr. of Fayette, AL; one daughter, Tammy J. Laster of Water Valley, MS; three sisters, Rosalee Faulkner of Millport, AL, Nelda Moore of Vernon, AL, and Carolyn "Tootsie" Long of Winfield, AL; the mother of his children, Bonnie Morris Jones; five grandchildren, Joshua Few of Water Valley, MS, Tiffany Few of Water Valley, MS, Caitlyn Grey of Water Valley, MS, Kyle Morris of Vernon, AL, and Kaylie Morris of Vernon, AL; and one great-grandchild on the way.
