Obituary
Mr. William Ronald Wright, age 71 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Wright was born March 17, 1945, in Tuscaloosa, AL, to the late William Charles and Louise Wright. He served in the U.S. Army and was a personnel director for a railroad.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 from the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Mark Ashby officiating. Graveside services will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday 10-11 prior to the service.
Active pallbearers will be Greg Von Eberstein, Jerry Coleman, Jason Von Eberstein, Frank Westbrook, Dennis Lollar, and Randy Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Rollie Frye, Zack Westbrook, Steve Westbrook, Wesley Westbrook, Brady Bigham, Victor Bigham, Joey Scola, Jim Wright, and Donnie Morrow.
Survivors include one daughter, Shannon Gail Wright of Decatur, GA; one grandson, Guthery Montgomery Lopez of Decatur, GA; one sister, Gail (Greg) Von Eberstein of Longwood, FL; two aunts, Doris Frye and Ruby Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
