Mr. Ronnie Dale Stanford, age 67, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Mr. Stanford was born November 7, 1957, in Sulligent, AL, to the late George William Stanford, Sr. and Gladys (Smith) Stanford.  He was a mechanic and owned his service station for over 40 years.  Mr. Stanford loved racing and watching Alabama football, and being with his family and grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by sister, Peggy Pickle.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 17, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Jason Cliffton officiating.  Burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Richard Alexander, Billy Miller, Tim Edwards, Sammy Walker, Randy Rogers, Dale McGee, Ryan McGee, and Stevie Brewer.  Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Scott and Bobby Edwards.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, DeShana and Shawn McLemore; his grandchildren, Race and Baze McLemore; four brothers, George "Junebug" Stanford, Ricky (Lisa) Stanford, Kenny (Carrie) Stanford, and Gregg (Pam) Stanford; three sisters, Linda Weaver, DeLane (David) McDonald, and Donna (Teddy) Gunter. and a host of nieces and nephews.
