Ruby Boman

Mrs. Ruby Lee Boman, age 83, of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Boman was born October 12, 1942, in Gattman, MS, to the late Lee B. and Virgie White.  She was a housewife, and was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tiffany Boman, and two brothers, William White and Jody White.

There will be a memorial service Sunday, February 8, at 2:00 PM, at the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Overton officiating.

Survivors include her husband, Sammie G. "Jack" Boman, of Vernon, AL; three sons, Alton Boman of Vernon, AL, and Eldon Boman and Richard (Sherry) Boman, both of Gattman, MS; five grandchildren, Stacy (Matt) Gallop, Timothy Boman, Michelle (Arthur) Hilliard, Collette Jenkins, and Jessica (Jonathan) Hughes; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alcie Whittington and Melanie Smith; and a host of other family and friends.
