Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Lee Humbers, age 75 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Generation of Vernon.
Mrs. Humbers was born December 5, 1937, to the late Robert and Magdalene Gilliam. She was a garment plant worker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Newman Humbers.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with W.T. Allison officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Branch. Visitation will be Saturday evening 6-8.
Survivors include her daughter, Samantha (Dan) Cooper of Vernon, AL; two grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Humbers of Vernon, AL; two sisters, Dorothy McGee of Millport, AL and Mary Cash of Kennedy, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
