Mrs. Ruby Nell Lacy, age 92 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Lacy was born August 25. 1928, in Lamar County, AL, to the late A. Jackson Loyd and Ruby Velma Parson.  She was a homemaker and was married to the late Bill Ross Lacy.  Mrs. Lacy was also a loving wife, mother, MawMaw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and friend.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Loyd Parson; two sisters, Virginia Johnson and Ruth Trull; and her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Milligan Lacy.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Hollis officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Thursday 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Cody McNees, Brody McClain, Tyler Lacy, Dennis Lacy II, Benny Lacy, Jr., and Dale Adkins.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Donna) Lacy of Harvest, AL and Benny (Lisa) Lacy of Vernon, AL; four grandchildren, Michelle (Dale) Adkins, Tashia (Cody) McNees, Benny Lacy, Jr., and Dennis (Kateryna) Lacy II; ten great-grandchildren, Brody (Katie), Tyler, Lacy, Autumn, Amber, Anna, Ava, Matthew, Victoria, and Dennis III; and four sisters, Fannie Pearl Tittle, Lillie Mae Weldin, Mary Walters, and Lula Cole.
